Jandor 2023 Guber project receives boost as women groups converge in Liberty Place for special prayer sessions
… says God Almighty is his Godfather
Several women groups have converged on the Liberty Place headquarters of Lagos4Lagos to lend spiritual support to the aspiration of the Lead Visioner, Lagos4Lagos Dr Abdul-azeez Olajide Adediran, in the 2023 Lagos Guber election. The women groups led by the Lagos4Lagos women leader, Alhaja Adeyemi Idera. comprised socio-cultural groups, interest groups, religious denominations who took turn to render prayers for the success of Jandor in the 2023 Guber election.
Expressing their readiness to use their numerical strength to Jandor’s advantage, the women restated confidence in the ability of the Lagos4Lagos helmsman to impact the lives of women when he assumes office in 2023. In his remarks, Jandor appreciated the women for their steadfastness amid intimidation from various quarters in their constituencies. He assured the women of his dedication and commitment to the course of freeing Lagos from the shackles of autocracy and maladministration come 2023.
He saluted the women groups for demonstrating true followership and support despite the lean resources available to the Lagos4Lagos movement. While urging the women to consolidate their efforts at mobilizing and sensitizing people in their constituencies and communities, he explained that the women constitute an integral part of the state voting population. Specifically, Jandor stated that some notable women leaders had backed off from supporting him when they found out he was not being bankrolled or supported by any Godfather. He noted that the Jandor ’23 project is a divine one whose Godfather is the ‘Almighty God.
The occasion also witnessed the presentation of birthday cake by the women group to the Lead Visioner, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide in commemoration of his birthday slated for November, 25, 2021.
